I don't have any favourites in particular, but here are some hints:
A PDF file usually embeds the fonts, so if you create a file in Pages and export it to pdf, it is likely that it will look the same on a PC. You can verify in Adobe Reader if the fonts are embedded (File > Document Properties > Fonts).
To go from PC to Mac, Word for PC also has the ability to embed fonts (something the Mac version doesn't do). I think (should check this), that Mac for Word is able to read the embedded fonts and display them.

Cursive Fonts For Word On Mac X
- To use cursive writing fonts in word follow these steps – 1 – Open Word. 2 – In the Home menu, you can select a font from here. My favorite is “Lucida Calligraphy”. You can try out other fonts such as – A. Brush Script MT. Harlow Solid Italic. Lucida Handwriting. Monotype Corsiva.
- In HTML you often define several fonts at the same time, for example: 'font-family:arial,helvetica;', where Windows browsers always can find Arial, and Mac users always find Helvetica. My very wild guess is that eBay has a way of doing the same thing in some way - define 'pretty cursive', and behind that are several fonts - one for the Mac.
